OSO Maxi Dublo 18RE

The Maxi Dublo is a tank-in-tank solution specifically designed for hard water areas, manufactured in stainless steel. The Dublo utilizes solely electric immersion heaters for heating hot water in commercial applications, but can also be connected to an external heat source, such as a boiler. All units manufactured to the international standard ISO/DIS 2694 (BS 5500). Maxi Dublo units can also be manufactured to individual specification.

The Dublo calorifier is of particular use in hard water areas. Primary heating water circulates through the outer jacket, meaning that scale accumulation is restricted compared to a conventional coil heat exchanger. Direct 18 series cylinders have the immersion heaters located in the inert outer water jacket, eliminating lime scale accumulation.

The domestic hot water is heated evenly from the base and the sides meaning that there is no “dead zone” in the base of the cylinder where water is permanently cooler.

This eliminates the need for destratification pumps and enhances the use of the cylinder for public and other large buildings. All calorifiers are fully insulated within a protective steel casing.

Secondary water expansion can be accommodated in a self-generated air gap or by a separate expansion vessel suitable for potable water.
