OSO PowerCyl RI F1

- Indirect unvented cylinder with high flow rate

The PowerCyl cylinders come standard with 1" hot and cold connections for high flow rates, and can operate at up to 5 bar pressure. The PowerCyl has large heating coils for fast heating times, and low heat loss due to the OSO ECO Foam insulation. Dedicated secondary return and a 25 year cylinder guarantee.

The PowerCyl cylinders has large heating coils for fast heating times. Heat loss is restricted by OSO ECO Foam insulation. PowerCyl cylinders with 1" hot and cold connections are ideal where high water flow rates are required. The PowerCyl are the key component in the OSO SuperStream system, providing dramatically boosted flow rates available to the hot and cold water taps by supplementing the mains flow rate with stored water in an accumulator.

Large capacity heating coils give fast heat up time & recovery, and heat loss is restricted by OSO ECO Foam. External expansion vessel is supplied as standard. Heating coils in OSO cylinders are made of smooth coil that wil not encourage limescale deposits and offer longer and more efficent life than finned or rippled coils. Oso coils have increased length compared to finned coils, carry more heating fluid and therefore have a greater heat transfer capacity.

OSO F1 cylinders are supplied with an adjustable pressure reducing valve to provide enhanced pressure and performance compared to other unvented cylinders.

PowerCyl is available in 3 different volumes, estimated to be suitable for the no. of people designated in the table below. The table shows suitable volumes based on experience from average hot water usage in a normal household. If the household has a large hotwater usage, for instance due to large bathtubs, steamshowers etc., one should choose higher volume than designated in the table. Hotwater capacity is calculated by instant tapping at 40°C. At 40°C a normal shower uses approx. 60 l., bathtubs 180 l. and bubblebaths 400 l. Capacity is also dependant upon the heat source's size and performance.
